So, I deactivated my Facebook account today. Why? Because Facebook has made realize what the true definition of "friendship" is. Friends are those who support you and help your endeavors, no matter how silly or uninterested they my be in those said endeavors. I know I have been a supporter of my friends and their crusades. Weather they were a realtor, another creator, musician, activist, etc, I've shared their posts. Do I get their support in return? Sorry to say, but no. I posted about the relaunch of my show, Buzz Throwdown a few days ago. After posting images and comments to pump folks about it, I get 80 views in 3 days. Le sigh. Myself and my staff BUSTED OUR ASSES on this relaunch. Staying up 24-48 hours, straight. Leaving the studio at 2, 3, or even 5 in the morning. We were so excited about the relaunch that we couldn't wait to hear what others thought about it. The relaunch was barely even noticed. So, to save myself from constant disappointment from my "friends", I decided to activate my Facebook. Was that an extreme decision? Maybe, I am a Leo. But the alternative would've been more drama inducing, removing friends from Facebook. Not sure why, but when you unfriend someone, it's like an act of war, or the termination of a friendship. Not the case here. I still adore my friends, and those who did share or post about my projects will get a special thank you from me. So no more Facebook for me. If you wanna keep up with me, I'll be here, in my own little place in cyberspace, where friends are always welcome and fun will be had :) *Roqitz
